Galaxy Quest


The film stars Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, and Alan Rickman as the former cast
members of an old TV show named Galaxy Quest. Many years after the show has gone off-air, they are unsuspectingly recruited by a band of aliens to aid in protecting themselves from the aggression of a reptilian warlord. Only once it is too late to back out do the crew realize that they are in the middle of an inter-galactic war that could have far-reaching consequences.

    This is a good movie, but I liked Futurama's spoof on the Star Trek hyperfan a little more.

    Great movie. For a parody on Star Trek it's a really good movie on it's own.

    Alan Rickman is a GEM in that movie... Just wish they could've gotten the rights to Trek itself, rather than having to do the thinly-veiled equivalent.

    I loved this movie back in the day. Sigourney Weaver was still kind of hot here also....not all decrepit like in Avatar.
