The Pagemaster


The Pagemaster stars Macaulay Culkin as a ten-year-old boy named Richard Tyler.
He is afraid of almost everything, and one day gets trapped in his local library during a thunderstorm. When he tries to find the exit of the library, Richard gets lost in the fiction section and ends up as an cartoon illustration in the books. He must confront his fears and go on a journey through the plots of several famous works of fiction in order to escape the library.

    i fucking loved the pagemaster growing up. there were parts that were scary, whoopi goldberg was funny, it had a good adventure story. it never got me into reading though, just more movies and cartoons.

    I fucking love Pagemaster, this was the first movie I went to see in the cinema.

    I had completely forgot about it until a few years back when my missus downloaded a 'Complete Disney' torrent (for shitty Anastasia of all things), I saw Pagemaster when I was scrolling through the torrent for nostalgia...

    .... then I jizzed in my pants.

    Oh my fucking god, I loved this film as a kid. Somehow the last time I watched it my friends and I managed to make it a story about reach-arounds. Shit was cash.
