Miracle stars Kurt Russell as Mel Brooks, the famed coach of the US National Hockey
Team that won gold at the 1980 Olympics in Lake Placid. The movie covers the entire process the team went through to win gold, from the selecting of players up to the gold medal game, and the team-building that was required to get them to the pinnacle of success. This is one of my favorite winter sports movies, but i rarely see it anywhere on the TV.
Winter sports movies are always appreciated

ReplyDeleteI cry every time I see this. This was much more than a hockey game. This was us proving we our a better and more dominate country than USSR during a time when we had little faith in ourselves and where we were going as a society.
ReplyDeletevery inspiring.
